Since I was a child, I like the nature, I remember that I always wanted to go for a walk through forests, beaches or hills and I liked to observe the plants and animals that I met.
When I was 16, I still wasn't sure what to study, I liked Paleontology, but the closest thing in Chile was Geology. It was then that I started looking for careers and found forestry engineering.
However, when I started my senior year of high school, I decided to do something different with my life and apply to the ESCMIL, I was very excited to enter, since through my family I knew that world and I knew that I would have the opportunity to work outdoors, learn survival, leadership and be constantly doing sports.
Unfortunately, for health reasons I was unable to enter, so I had to think again in a university career. So I applied to forestry engineering in 4 different universities and to geology in 2.
At present, with the pandemic studying has become less motivating, especially not having had the live experienceI, hope to have it soon to get to know the career better and have a clearer idea of what area I would like to work in.
